Is tincture of iodine deactivated by sulfur compounds?

I am considering blending a sulfa antiseptic with tincture of iodine. I own read one source stating that the antiseptic property of povidone-iodine (iodophor) is deactivated by sulfur compounds, but I cannot deduce that this also applies to a simple solution of iodine surrounded by ethanol too. You have described tincture as I2 dissolved contained by alcohol. Diatomic iodine is not very reactive. It does not appear that it should react near sulfur compounds. The iodine as providone or betadine may react near the sulfur.
Tincture iodine is not deactivated by sulfur..If any sulfur enhances the antiseptic bustle. of iodine. Sulfur may be an allergen.
