Is in attendance any bearing to repair the nerves contained by the eyes?

My father just come fund from his eye doctor due to his blurry vision which is getting worse and worse everyday. The doctor said that some of the nerves are getting watery and damage, due to age (he's almost 70 yrs old) and nil can be done to get them fix. All can be done is to prevent the nerves from getting worse. The doctor basically give him some vitamins.
Is it true the prejudice nerves can't be fixed?
I don't want my father to lose his vision. He's an artist, his sight is everything to him. Anyone can help me pls? ask him to practice JALNETI and PRANAYAM.
adjectives the nerves will be strong and he will have no loss .
god bless u and ur relations
Till date, no.
Partial repair, Yes.
Unfortunately, the doctor is right (of course he has to be, he studied and become a doctor).
Nerve regeneration is something we cannot do. Yet. But we own very smart family working on it. Stem cells may eventually allow rebuilding the shabby nerves. Do support research in that nouns, your father is not the only losing his trance.
Damaged nerves of the eye can not be repaired.
