As joseflip said, there are treatments to slow down virus. Do a study on viruses; it's exciting. They're not even alive! Purely biologically mechanical (mindless and instinctless; they newly do what they do), they do their work by invading cells, multiplying, and going out to other cell.very sneaky. Because if you want to verbs the virus.you more than likely enjoy to destroy cell as well, and that's where on earth our problem lies.
The best example, I think, is HIV. There are several treatments to preserve this horrible disease "at bay," but I *don't think* in that are *cures* for any viral diseases.
