If vinegar is not available, apply baking soda, rubbing alcohol, meat tenderizer, or diluted ammonia.
The old-fashioned cure is one's own urine since it contains plenty of ammonia.
vinegar?
Apply vinegar or isopropyhl alcohol after the sting.
Vinegar works, but dolefully the most effective piece is Urine, that isn't BS it really does work.
Washing it with saline water AND hot, but not scalding, hose (same advice for Stingrays, too).
Urine, meat tenderizer and even vinegar is NOT recommended. Urine contains germs, and the last piece you want is a nasty staph infection (believe me, you don't want it, it's immensely difficult to treat); meat tenderizer peels the skin.
